🧚 How To Make The Fairy Kit 🧚 Full Instructions
I used @mouldd_resin and I did three layers. ⭐️
Day one layer one, for day one I mixed 120mls total 60mls or grams of resin and 60mls/grams of hardener.
I mixed this for three minutes.
I then added a sprinkling of the peach glitter into the mixture and poured that into my mould.
I waited 25 mins for this layer to become slightly thick and laid down foliage & flowers and left this on my desk overnight to cure, covered with a box.
Day 2 layer two.
I mixed the same amount of resin 120mls/grams & left it to sit for five minutes to degass.
I gently poured it into my mould and then added my PET sticker. (I did not remove the backing I used it like an inlay)
I then added my charms and bunnies and left this to cure overnight.
Day 3, I mixed 100mls so 50mls/grams resin and 50mls/grams hardener for three minutes. I added some tiny iridescent glitter flakes from the kit (the one in the tall pot) and mixed them in. I then poured this layer into the mould and let it cure for 24 hours.
Day 4 Demould day!
I demoulded this beauty and added the tubes and flowers and fell in love 🥰.
Finishing touches. You can add a dome layer at this stage or carefully sand the edges (always wear your particulate respirator when sanding) for a gorgeous finish.
There are many ways you can make this kit this is just one example. There are a huge variety of flowers, glitters and textures to play with.
You can use deep pour resin and pour in one go and you can also use the original resin in pours up to 2cm at a time with Mouldd resins.
To fill this mould you’ll need a total of 340-350mls/grams of resin. Do not try to fill this in one go with original resin the density is too great and will cause your resin to destabilise and burn. It will also burn your mould. 🧚
